Abstract
- The article discusses bad press and a February 10, 2013 "New York Times" newspaper review by John M. Broder of billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk's Tesla Model S battery-powered roadster, including information on a debate between Musk and Broder regarding the accuracy of the reviewer's statements about the operability of a Tesla test vehicle. The newspaper's public editor Margaret Sullivan states that Broder did drive the test vehicle in good faith, but he did not exercise good judgment.
