Abstract

Efficient: A copper‐catalyzed enantioselective intramolecular insertion of carbenoids into phenolic OH bonds has been developed. This method can be used for the synthesis of the title compounds in high yields and excellent enantioselectivities under mild and neutral conditions (see scheme).
