Abstract

The article discusses the impact of British Petroleum (BP) oil spill in 201 to the gross domestic product (GDP) in the U.S. It states that the economic activity generated by cleanup initiatives will likely outperform losses to fishing or tourism, according to J.P. Morgan representatives. It says that the GDP boost with the depreciation of machinery and the extraction of finite coal deposits while overlooking the extent in which youth are education and entrepreneurship are cultivated.
