Abstract

The article discusses research being done on the relationship between psychosocial distress and self-reported disability in patients with chronic low back pain (CLBP). It also explores the role of pain intensity and patient characteristics in six pain rehabilitation centers in the Netherlands. It was found out that there was weak relationship between psychosocial distress and self-reported disability. It also adds that the relationship is not uniform.
