A Prospective Analysis of Prognostic Factors in Patients With Spinal Metastases.

The article focuses on a study of the revised Tokuhashi score in its ability to predict the survival of patients with spinal metastases regardless of the type of treatment. It tries to correct the perceived selection bias of the scoring system since asymptomatic patients were excluded and because the treatment plan is affected by the predicted survival in the system. It showed how the revised Tokuhashi score proved useful in predicting survival regardless of the treatment pathway.
