Abstract

Abstract: We assessed Expressed Emotion (EE) with an adapted version of the Five-Minute Speech Sample in 847 pregnant women. The prevalence of high EE was 6%. High EE was significantly associated with having a first child, low income, maternal childhood trauma and lack of parental emotional warmth during childhood. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]
