Abstract
- The article presents the highlights of the 2013 Quality Meat Scotland Research and Development Conference that was held in Dundee, Scotland. In her lecture, the Moredun Institute's Kim Willoughby said that the development of the Petri dish-based bone marrow biopsy method will be helpful to farmers in understanding the cause of bleeding calf syndrome. The disease is also called bovine neonatal pancytopenia (BNP).
