Abstract

Abstract: An efficient TFA-catalyzed cleavage of C–N bonds in alkylation of indoles by tertiary enamides was described. A variety of bisindolylalkane derivatives, especially 3,3-bisindolylpropanoates, were expeditiously synthesized in good yields. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]
