Abstract

The article discusses the draft guidelines issued for prostate-specific antigen (PSA) screening in men. It mentions the European Randomized Study of Screening for Prostate Cancer which included 162,243 men under ages between 55-69 years for the study and highlights the conclusion on reduction at mortality rate among the cancer patients. It mentions the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force which conducted a literature review on draft guidelines for the cancer screening.
