Abstract: Studies theoretically and experimentally the structural properties of manganese (Mn) films with a thickness of one monolayer deposited on a Ag(100) substrate. Investigation of the magnetic structure of these films and the effect of magnetism on their relative stability; How a complete inversion of the Mn ML can be obtained; Examination of the energetic stability of an on-top Mn ML againts the formation of an inverted Mn ML.
