Abstract

The article focuses on the need to measure aggregate T-cell response to Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) accurately to identify T-cell deficiencies. It highlights the study that measure the frequencies of peripheral blood mononuclear cell 's (PBMC) reactive to EBV which reported that CD4 and CD8 T cells contributes to EBV response in health immune subjects. Findings also suggest that EBC-specific T cells is higher in CD8 T cell population than CD4 T-cell.
