Abstract
- The article reports on research which was conducted to investigate the potential association with anthropometry and upper-body pulling strength with sprint kinematics of competitive surfers. Researchers evaluated 10 competitive male surfers. They found that there was a strong association between relative upper-body pulling strength and sprint paddling ability in surfers and concluded that coaches working with competitive surfers should implement strength training with the surfers.
