Abstract

The article offers tips to proving training return-on-investment (ROI). It mentions that there are ways to compute ROI that are effective, inexpensive and easy, and managers and learning professionals just need to show that their training are cost justified. It suggests to shift thinking to results and impact mindset from a quality mindset to prove value, which needs a willingness to take responsibility to the delegates' actions after leaving the learning event. It recommends that top box analysis works well for effectiveness and quality measure due to its ability to reveal deviations that may get lost through simple averaging.
