Usefulness of faecal calprotectin measurement in children with various types of inflammatory bowel disease.

In this study of pediatric patients, fecal calprotectin levels were significantly increased in Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis patients compared with those in eosinophilic, lymphocytic, and non-specific colitis patients, and those in control subjects.
