Abstract
- The article discusses a study to evaluate and compare the short-term clinical outcome of surgical anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (ACLR) with the remnant preservation technique as against standard ACLR. Participants included 90 patients that underwent ACLR. The findings revealed that remnant preservation ACLR was not found to be superior to standard ACLR in terms of stability, synovial coverage, and proprioception recovery and also was not superior in terms of clinical outcomes.
