Abstract

The article discusses marketing strategy for grain farmers in Great Britain for 2013. It is said that there is uncertainty over the best selling strategy for the coming year as farmers faced poor yields, volatile prices and imperfect drilling conditions. Marketing director Richard Jenner believes that farmers without a strategy who held on to their grain until after harvest are in the best position. Analyst Jack Watts stresses the importance of basing marketing decisions on business needs.
