EUROPE'S ASSAULT ON JEWISH RITUAL.

The article presents the author's views against a social movement in Germany and the Netherlands to ban Jewish ritual practices in 2012. Introductory details are given noting a call by a group of German doctors to ban circumcision on the grounds of human rights and cruelty to infants. The political backlash in response to this initiative is described. The author asserts that such movements are a resurgence of antisemitism in Europe which deliberately seek to undermine Jewish identity.
