Abstract
- Evolution of γ′ precipitates during creep has been investigated over a wide range of temperatures from 760 to 1100 °C in a liquid metal cooling directionally solidified nickel-based superalloy. Cubic γ′ precipitates were found to remain in the specimens crept at low temperatures, while rafting and cellular-like precipitates remained at intermediate and high temperatures, respectively.
