Abstract
- The article reports on the social problem of body packing, which is a term used to describe a drug smuggling technique in which smugglers conceal illegal drugs within their bodies, and discusses body packer syndrome, a syndrome occurring in drug smugglers in whom internally concealed drug packages have ruptured. The role that imaging plays in the detection of internally concealed drug packets is discussed.
