Abstract

The article reports on roadside bombings in Afghanistan in November 2012. It states that the attacks killed 17 civilians, mostly women and children. Provincial governor spokesman Abdul Rahman Zawandai says that the victims hit an improvised explosive device that was planted in the road. It mentions that the locations of bomb attacks are surrounded by the Afghan National Police, Afghan National Army Soldiers, and Afghan Local Police which could have been the designated target of the attack.
