Abstract
- The article discusses the highlights of the "European Forum Against Blindness" dinner debate held on October 18, 2012 at the European Parliament with the European Council of Optometry and Optics (ECOO) taking part at the event. Optometrists from the ECOO Executive Committee discuss eye health, the importance of regular eye examinations and how to avoid sight loss. Richard Howitt discussed visual impairment in the context of disability.
