Abstract
- The article reports on the continued progress of utility companies on restoring the electrical service in New York and New Jersey after the Hurricane Sandy. It mentions that Long Island Power Authority reported that it had brought power back to about 95% of homes and business which were safe to receive electricity. Rena Esposito, spokeswoman for Public Service Electric & Gas Co. Inc. says that they have seen a good amount of progress concerning the power restoration.
