Abstract: The article presents a study on a 10-year airborne measurements of atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO2) concentrations from continuous and flask systems collected between 2002 and 2012 over the Atmospheric Radiation Measurement Program Climate Research Facility in the U.S. Southern Great Plains (SGP). The study uses estimation theory and inverse models. Results show there were no systematic differences between the continuous and flask observations during air sampling.
