Abstract

The article presents a study which examined the cattle semen using support vector machine (SVM), multilayer perception (MLP) and random forest (RF) chemometric tools. The tools were selected to determine the reproductive performance of cattle from Zebu and European classes, with their semen samples initially subjected to inductively coupled plasma spectrometry (ICP-MS). The number of chemical elements needed to detect cattle reproduction was reduced with the use of the tools.
