- The article focuses on marketplace ministries in the U.S. The marketplace ministry Cincinnati, Ohio-based At Work on Purpose (AWOP) was founded by Chuck Proudfit to integrate faith and work among its members in the city. David W. Miller, scholar at Princeton University in New Jersey, notes that AWOP is expanding its focus on workplace evangelism to include ethics, social responsibility, and citywide engagement.
