Abstract: The article offers news briefs related to gardening in Australia as of December 2012. The Australia Garden History Society Essay Prize 2011 has been won by Betsy Taylor of New South Wales for a paper related to George Chapman's garden. The AGHS 2013 Conference Optional Day Tour included new gardens in the Bus tour including Balaclava, Ollera and Rosecroft. The Australian Garden History Society's 33rd Annual National Conference will be held in Ballarat, Victoria from November 9-11, 2012.
