Abstract
- The author reflects on the use of ovulation induction in broodmare practice in Great Britain. She says that ovulation induction can optimise pregnancy rates by administering in the most appropriate time of ovulation. She relates the paper by Henderson and colleagues which shows that Ovuplant implants without removal may not be of big managerial significance in the interovulatory intervals in mares.
