Abstract
- This paper presents a of the results of a survey conducted by the Global Spatial Data Infrastructure (GSDI) in 2000 on the development of the National Spatial Data Infrastructure (NSDI) in Latin America and other developed by the Center for Integrated Surveys of Natural Resources by Remote Sensing (CLIRSEN) with the joint support of the Pan-American Institute of Geography and History (PAIGH), section Ecuador and the Global Spatial Data Infrastructure (GSDI) 2008. Besides a comparative analysis of fifteen countries that participated in both surveys for which we used the values of high, medium and low to locate the levels of development of the NSDI in 2000, compared with the development of geospatial information in 2008.
