Abstract

The nothingness was a cultural movement in Colombia in the sixties and seventies to express a voice of opposition to the literary traditions, culture and politics of the moment. Its members had in common the desire to create a collective consciousness of both aesthetic and social character that was in line with the profound political and cultural changes of the time. Shape freely, think freely, speak freely was the radical legacy of the new spirit of nothingness and other Latin American avant-garde. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
