Abstract
- The article reports on the controversy over the date of birth of Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Vijay Kumar Singh of 2 Rajput Regiment of the Indian Army. Documents from Military Secretary's and Adjutant General's branches showed different dates of births of Singh. A year difference will shorten his tenure as army chief.
