Abstract

The article presents a study which examines the effects of biological agents (BAs) on the progression and development of cervical spine lesions in rheumatoid arthritis (RA). It mentions that the activity of RA is assessed by disease activity score (DAS)-C reactive protein (CRP). It shows that BAs fail to inhibit pre-existing RA lesions' progression, but prevent the development of de novo cervical spine lesions in RA patients.
