Is EW Ready for AESA (and Vice Versa)?

The article discusses the possible integration between electronic warfare (EW) systems and Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar. AESA radars are able to scan multiple targets at very fast speeds. Although AESA radars have many advantage over EW systems, EW systems have exceptional ability in identifying received threats and then transmitting them in near real-time. Next-generation EW systems are expected to have an AESA architecture.
