Abstract

The article discusses the views of public on the legalization of marijuana consumption in the U.S. and informs that the support for the issue is increased from 12 percent in the year 1969 to 44 percent in year 2009. It also explores the reason behind the increased demand for the legalization of marijuana and informs that increasing awareness about marijuana health effects is invoking people for their demand.
