Framing the Senate: The Intellectual Origins of a Deliberative Assembly.

The article focuses on the paper that will be discussed at Annual Meeting of the Southern Political Science Association to be held from January 6-8, 2011 to determine worth of reexamining senate creation in the U.S. It reflects on the ideas-based explanation presented in the paper for the creation of senate. The article looks at two approaches mentioned in paper including one related with antagonistic classes in the society and other on bases of institutional representative of several states.
