Examines the meanings of tuberculosis among migrant Mexican farmworkers employed in western New York state. Interviews conducted with farmworkers; Utilization of the Glaser and Strauss' grounded theory model of analysis; Description of farmworkers explanations of tuberculosis etiology, severity, symptoms and social significance.
