Presents information on experiments conducted on an on-line method, which can be used to measure residence time distribution (RTD) in a twin-screw extruder. Rate and extent of physical or chemical reaction governed by time-temperature effects; Application of the stimulus-response technique; Use of radioactive, dielectric and optical properties for on-line measurement.
