Abstract
- The article offers information on the Tlingit Map of 1869. It states that the map was a cartographic work drawn by Kohklux or Shotridge and his two wives given to George Davidson of the U.S. Coast Survey that portrays the Chilkat Tlingit. It mentions that Davidson visit the area to examine the ebb and flow of tides, and the earth's magnetic field, and the solar eclipses to understand the earthly phenomena and to map the coasts of the U.S. concerning ship navigation in American waters.
