Abstract
- The article reports a study evaluating the clinical effect of zero-balance ultrafiltration (Z-BUF) through review of all relevant published randomized controlled trials (RCTs). Clinical outcomes including hospital stay, mortality and chest tube drainage were considered. The random effects model was used to conduct combined analysis, which revealed that there was no significant statistical difference in any of the postoperative clinical parameters.
