Abstract

The article discusses the experimental developments in nuclear physics. It presents the study which examined the correlations between emission timescale of fragments and isospin dynamics in 124tin (Sn) + 64nickel (Ni) and 112Sn + 58Ni reactions at 35 A megaelectron volt (MeV). Based on the study, intermediate mass fragments (IMF) emitted in the early stage of the reaction show bigger values of (N/Z) isospin asymmetry, among others.
