Isolation and Characterization of cDNA Clones with Enhanced Expression in Tobacco Plants Expressing the Rice Homeobox Gene, OSH1.

We have used subtractive hybridization to isolate cDNA clones whose expression were up-regulated in transgenic tobacco ectopically expressing the rice homeobox gene, OSH1. Thirty-nine distinct cDNA clones, which we term HRGs (Homeobox Regulated Genes), were identified.
