Abstract

The article presents information on contract negotiations with respect to symphony orchestra and music. It discusses the making of negotiations which comprises of formulating proposals, logical arguments over proposals, and orchestra's opinions. It mentions that proposals carried forward by the symphonic employers comprising of plans for dramatic cuts to musicians' wages and benefits but these plans are found to be unnecessary, destructive to the institution, and grossly unjust.
