An efficient fluorescent chemosensor for Mg2+: selective and high sensitive

A novel conjugated polymer containing 2,2′-bipyridyl moiety synthesized through the Wittig reaction not only shows ion-dependent response for transition metal ions with high sensitivity, but also exhibits selective response to Mg2+, which selectively analyzed from the mixture of alkali and alkali earth metal ions.
