Abstract

The authors discuss a paper by Bate and colleagues on post-exposure prophylaxis against varicella in children with cancer. They presents a service evaluation of postexposure chickenpox prophylaxis in children with leukaemia to provide details on the practice in a large tertiary paediatric haematology unit in England. They also talks about the probability of cases of PEPE and clinical chickenpox in the paper.
