General and Respiratory Health Outcomes on Adult Survivors of Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia.

The article discusses a systematic review of literature on respiratory and general health outcomes in adult survivors of bronchopulmnonary dysplasia (BPD). Fourteen cohort studies meet the review criteria, in which eight were of high quality, five were moderate, and one was low in quality. It concludes that BPD adult survivors as compared with adults born in term have more impairment in respiratory and general health.
