Abstract

This work analyzes the problem of floods in terms of media, that regularly reports this phenomenon to the readers / viewers / listeners. The above are the basic elements that every reporter who covers the floods must know. Complex terminology that is used during the floods is specially treated, and explains in detail the system of flood control, which is in force in our country. This work presents a dynamic model of media coverage during the floods, which begins with the preparation of journalists, and thus ends up reporting. The author presents a model that is based on theoretical considerations, but is applied in practical conditions on the ground, at the time of floods on the Tisza and Danube 2006th year. The last part considers the experience with the floods, as well as recommendations for media involvement of young journalists and reporters, who work with this type of emergency.
