Abstract
- The article presents an overview of the different clinical trials that have been conducted to determine the impacts of dark chocolate on blood pressure in patients suffering from hypertension. The study conducted by Taubert and colleagues in 2003 for around thirteen patients proved that dark chocolate favorably affect blood pressure in hypertension patients. However, additional factors need to be considered in further studies for better results.
