Abstract
- The article offers the author's insights on faulty joint prosthesis in Australia. The author states that 13% of patients who have implanted with two recalled hip replacement devices from DePuy Cos. need revision surgery to replace the faulty prosthesis. It states that the Senate asked the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) in 2011 to change the way it lists new prostheses in the country.
