This paper analyzes two different sentences on the same case: a double murder. In the first sentence, a jury found the defendant not guilty, accepting two really differents defenses: self defense and extreme emotional disturbance defense. This decision was reversed and in the new trial, a second jury found the defendant guilty. How could it be possible?
