Abstract: The results of a feasibility study performed by measuring, with a test setup at the collider DA<f>Φ</f>NE of Frascati, two previously unobserved transitions of kaonic nitrogen, demonstrated the possibility to make a precision measurement of the mass of the charged kaon.
