Abstract

The work was carried out in the experimental areas of the INIVIT, Santo Domingo during the years 2005 to 2006, with the objectives of evaluating the effect of the application of different organ-minerals combinations on the quality of the inceptisol soil and the yield of the banana tree FHIA-1 in the high density system. It was developed a field experiments in blocks at random with 8 treatments and 4 replicates using sugar cane filter cake, casting, NPK and ash. The best yield for plant and ha (15.84 kg and 57.02 t) was reached with the treatment sugar cane filter cake 14 kg + ash 5 kg + NPK 25%, overcoming the control without fertilization in 34.47% and to the NPK 100% in 11,08. The treatments where organic materials combined were applied with ash and 25% NPK produced the bigger positive effects on the physical and chemical parameters of increasing the soil quality of Inceptisol soil.
